When #Winning Isn’t Really Winning

News Flash. Just because a man wants to have sex with you does not mean that he wants you to be his woman or that he will try to make you his woman. This goes doubly for loose women.

Over the past few months I’ve been seeing the topic that the hoes are winning in 2011 being posted on blogs and forum boards across the Internets. It’s usually accompanied by a picture of a NBA or NFL player, rapper or other celebrity in entertainment being up close and personal with what most women will call an industry hoe.

You see all kind of comments and criticism against the couple because he, the baller, shouldn’t be making a hoe his woman. Then maybe a few months later you never see any more pictures of them together.

A classic example was when Hill Harper was spotted out and about with Dolicia Bryan, a video vixen and model. Women across the web were livid that this so called intellectual was dating what they call a booty model. Then a bunch of stories sprang up about how she was an industry jump-off and all around hoe. Most of the women that were complaining were educated Black women, who felt betrayed, for some insane reason, that an educated Black man would date a booty model. As if he had to date an educated Black woman because he went to school. These women were livid, spewing their venom across blogs left and right, all because they felt like he should have been dating educated women such as themselves. They never stopped to think that this woman wasn’t ugly by any stretch of the imagination and they really didn’t know the extent of the relationship they had. They just went in on them and made it into a hot topic.

Not long after that, you didn’t see them together anymore. Case closed; chalk one up for Internet antagonist. Well not quite true!

The real question here is what were Hill Harpers intentions in the first place. Take a stab in the dark. If the answer is, he wanted to have sex with her, then you’re right, anything else is dead wrong.

Men go into a relationship with one thing on their mind, having sex with you. What it takes to do that is what old folks used to call the courtship. If you are loose and give it up quickly, then he’s accomplished what he set out to do quickly and more than likely the relationship isn’t going anywhere. If you make him wait way too long then the relationship probably isn’t going anywhere either (more about these situations in a later post).

So without knowing anything about what Hill was trying to accomplish with this “jump-off” educated Black women got angry and started acting a fool online, and regular Black women and booty models praised the fact that Hill looked pass Dolicia’s ways and tried to have a relationship with her.

Absent from all of this is what men thought about the situation. Well here it is!

Hill Harper wanted to fuck Dolicia Bryan.

He knew who she was from the videos, magazines, and blogs that she is featured in and he thought to himself, I would really like to hit that. So he got at her, took her out, got paparazzied for the blogosphere to see, and more than likely did just that. After he had accomplished his goal, he conveniently got busy, you know with work and all, and they have never been seen together since. Sounds like a well thought out plan to me.

What’s really crazy is that every time you see a celebrity out with someone, that person is immediately called the woman or beau, as they say, of the celebrity. The bloggers who blog about these people daily need to start addressing them for what they really are for the most part, friends with benefits. Very few of them are really trying to have a relationship with these women, they are just trying to have sex with someone that they saw one day and thought to themselves I want to hit that, that’s all. Stop making it out to be something bigger than what it is. Most of these men are not trying to make the women they get caught on camera with their real woman, they just want to have fun and you all keep making it into a big story, thus driving Black women insane with your bad reporting.

So no, hoes wasn’t steady winning in 2011 unless you call having sex with a celebrity who will probably never call you again until he wants to have sex again winning. Until next time stay losing.
